I absolutely love this product. I work full-time, and this is made my life a lot easier. I used to pushpin to place my holes in the bags, As directed. I have had zero leaking from the bags. I will definitely be using this product again. Because this year I strictly have only fed my hives hivealive Because they are brand new packaged bees. They have done phenomenal.

It alright

Seems to be a good product, but it can get quite expensive. There isn’t a lot of solution in the bag itself. The bees were going through a bag pretty quick. I believe it is more cost effective to make a 1:1 or 2:1 and put the hive alive syrup in the mixture.

Good product needs improvement

The idea is great but I had two bags completely leak out. The first was at the time of delivery and the second was a few weeks later in storage in an unopened box. I was assured that they are making improvements but just wanted folks to be aware. When you get your boxes open them clean bags and store in a bucket just in case more bags. I was given a discount for my next purchase as compensation, so no issue there. Just giving my 2¢. I will buy again simplicity is nice and the bees like it.

Opened and Leaked

The 9 containers were not sealed and so syrup was all over the packaging bag these 9 pounches and lost 30% of product.
I was outside with the product needless to,say I was swarmed by bees when they smelled the syrup.
I did not get picture I got stung dropped bag and left.
Bees cleaned up the packaging bag.
I contacted Felix still waiting on hi. To either resend me a new box that is secure and not leaking or a refund.

How to use HiveAlive EZ Feed Super Syrup?

Place: Position the flat side of the pouch face down over the frames or inner cover.
Puncture: Carefully use a sharp object to puncture multiple small holes into the top, middle section, allowing bees access to our super syrup.

"I and a few other beekeepers in my club started using hive alive fondant patties last fall and carried that through the winter and into this spring. I can’t believe how strong my colonies are right now and how much honey they still have in the hives. The others are reporting the same. Another beekeeper who has hives just about 100 yards away did not use hive alive and their colonies are weak. They are ordered a box of patties so we’ll see how the bees respond.
